# Forward Email

`POST /v2/emails/{email_id}/forward`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stuut.ai/v2/emails/{email_id}/forward`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a DRAFT forward of an existing email. Does not send.

The forwarded draft renders the source email Gmail-style and re-attaches its
attachments. Recipient lists come exclusively from the request body — the
source email's recipients are never used.

## Path parameters

- `email_id` string, required

## Request body

- ForwardEmailRequest: Request to forward an existing email — creates a DRAFT, does not send.
  - `to` string[]: Recipient addresses.
  - `cc` string[]
  - `bcc` string[]
  - `note` string, nullable: Optional prefatory note rendered above the forwarded chain.
  - `subject` string, nullable: Override subject. Defaults to source subject prefixed with `Fwd: `.
  - `email_sender_id` string, nullable: Optional outgoing sender. When omitted, picks the source's shared inbox if applicable, else the user's default sender. Mirrors reply.
