# Delete a Business Unit

`DELETE /v2/business-units/{business_unit_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a business unit. Its partners are unassigned (their business unit is cleared) and its
member / number assignments are removed. If it had its own legal identity, its Twilio Secondary
Profile is torn down asynchronously. Requires organization admin.
