# Provision Secondary Profile

`POST /v2/business-units/{business_unit_id}/compliance`

## Request

Turn an existing business unit into its own legal entity, so its numbers assert its CNAM and
attestation rather than the organization's. `POST /business-units` takes the same payload at
creation; this is the only way to add one afterwards.

Twilio review takes one to two business days. Numbers can be attached to the profile while it is
pending — they activate on approval.

## Request body

- SecondaryProfileComplianceInput: Compliance details used to create a Twilio Secondary Customer Profile. Describes a legal entity, and nothing about which of our rows owns it — the same payload provisions a profile for a business unit or for the organization itself. Not stored on our side (Twilio is the source of truth); collected fresh and passed straight to Trust Hub. Twilio accepts one or two authorized representatives.
  - `cnam_display_name` string, nullable: Caller ID name; Twilio caps it at 15 characters
  - `business_employee_count` string, nullable
  - `average_business_day_call_volume` string, nullable

## Response `202`

Successful Response

- BusinessUnitSecondaryProfileResponse: Acknowledges that Trust Hub provisioning was enqueued; the work runs asynchronously.
