# Quote credits

`POST /v2/billing/credits/quote`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Quote a prepaid credit purchase with estimated tax.

## Request body

- BuyCreditsRequest: A prepaid credit purchase.
  - `amount` union, required: Credits to purchase, in dollars.
    - number
    - string, decimal

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- QuoteResponse: A prepaid credit quote with live tax.
  - `credits` string, decimal, required: Credits purchased, in dollars.
  - `estimated_tax` string, decimal, required: Estimated tax, in dollars.
  - `tax_rate` string, decimal, required: Combined tax rate applied, as a percentage (8.25 = 8.25%); 0 when no tax applies.
  - `total_due` string, decimal, required: credits + estimated_tax, in dollars.

- `422`: Validation Error
