# Buy credits

`POST /v2/billing/credits`

## Request

Purchase prepaid credits and stream payment status.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required: Unique key for this intended purchase; reuse it when retrying the same request.

## Request body

- BuyCreditsRequest: A prepaid credit purchase.
  - `amount` union, required: Credits to purchase, in dollars.
    - number
    - string, decimal

## Response `200`
