# Payment method checkout

`POST /v2/billing/checkout`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stuut.ai/v2/billing/checkout`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a hosted Stripe session for updating payment details.

## Request body

- CheckoutRequest: Start a hosted payment-method update.
  - `success_url` string, required: App URL Stripe redirects to after completion.
  - `cancel_url` string, required: App URL Stripe redirects to if the customer bails.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CheckoutResponse
  - `url` string, required: One-time Stripe-hosted Checkout URL; redirect the customer to it.

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
