# Create a new assistant chat session

`POST /v2/assistant/chats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stuut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stuut.ai/v2/assistant/chats`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the new chat's id. Idempotent on empty chats: an existing empty
chat is reused instead of creating another.
