# Trigger Portal Deduction Backup Sync

`POST /v2/ap-portals/{ap_portal_id}/deduction-backups/sync`

## Request

Run deduction backups now

Enqueue an on-demand deduction-backup download for one customer portal and return
immediately. Each portal accepts one request per 15 minutes (429 otherwise). A paused
portal can still be run. Refuses (409) a disabled portal, a provider without deduction
backups, or a login that needs a new password.

- TriggerDeductionBackupSyncRequest: Options for an on-demand deduction-backup download.
  - `start_date` string, date, nullable: Earliest date to download from. Omit to use the provider's default window.
