# Restart stack containers

`POST /api/stacks/{stackName}/restart`

Restarts all containers in the stack via the Docker Engine API. Requires `stack:deploy` permission.

## Path parameters

- `stackName` string, required

## Headers

- `x-node-id` integer

## Response `200`

Containers restarted.

- SuccessBoolean
  - `success` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `403` — Insufficient permissions or license tier.
- `404` — No containers found for this stack.
- `500` — Internal server error.
