# Test node connection

`POST /api/nodes/{id}/test`

Tests connectivity to a node. For remote nodes, pings the remote Sencho instance's health endpoint.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

Connection test result.

  - `message` string
  - `error` string

## Other responses

- `401` — Authentication required. Provide a valid Bearer token.
- `500` — Internal server error.
