# Update node

`PUT /api/nodes/{id}`

Updates node configuration. Node type is immutable after creation. Requires `node:manage` permission.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Request body

  - `compose_dir` string
  - `is_default` boolean
  - `api_url` string
  - `api_token` string

## Response `200`

Node updated.

## Other responses

- `400` — Validation error.
- `403` — Insufficient permissions or license tier.
- `500` — Internal server error.
