# Create fleet snapshot

`POST /api/fleet/snapshots`

Creates a point-in-time backup of all compose files across all nodes. Requires admin role.

## Request body

  - `description` string — Optional description for the snapshot.

## Response `201`

Snapshot created.

  - `id` integer, required
  - `description` string, required
  - `created_by` string, required
  - `created_at` integer, required — Unix timestamp (seconds).
  - `node_count` integer, required
  - `stack_count` integer, required
  - `skipped_nodes` string — JSON-stringified array of skipped node names.

## Other responses

- `403` — Insufficient permissions or license tier.
- `500` — Internal server error.
