# Restore from snapshot

`POST /api/fleet/snapshots/{id}/restore`

Restores a specific stack on a specific node from the snapshot. Optionally redeploys after restore. Requires admin role.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `nodeId` integer, required — Target node ID to restore to.
  - `stackName` string, required — Stack to restore.
  - `redeploy` boolean — Whether to redeploy the stack after restoring files.

## Response `200`

Stack restored.

- SuccessMessage
  - `message` string, required

## Other responses

- `400` — Missing required fields.
- `403` — Insufficient permissions or license tier.
- `404` — Resource not found.
- `409` — One or more snapshot files for the stack could not be decrypted.
- `500` — Internal server error.
