# Delete a Reader

`DELETE /v1/terminal/readers/{reader}`

Deletes a `Reader` object.

## Path parameters

- `reader` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- DeletedTerminalReader
  - `deleted` true, required — Always true for a deleted object
  - `id` string, required — Unique identifier for the object.
  - `object` 'terminal.reader', required — String representing the object's type. Objects of the same type share the same value.
