# Standings

`POST /v1/get_standings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.strikerapi.com`
- URL: `https://mcp.strikerapi.com/v1/get_standings`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Use for a season's league table: rank, played, won, drawn, lost, goals for and against, goal difference, points (official, with any deduction), qualification or relegation note, plus home and away records and recent form. Champions League: one table per group or the league phase. Costs 2 credits.

  - `season` union: Season by the year it starts: 2025 = 2025-26. MLS, the NWSL, Liga MX, Brazil and Argentina: the calendar year. Default: the latest.

  - `league` 'soccer' | 'mls' | 'laliga' | 'seriea' | 'bundesliga' | 'ligue1' | 'ucl' | 'championship' | 'nwsl' | 'uel' | 'uecl' | 'eredivisie' | 'primeira' | 'scotland' | 'brazil': League. Defaults to soccer. One of: soccer, mls, laliga, seriea, bundesliga, ligue1, ucl, championship, nwsl, uel, uecl, eredivisie, primeira, scotland, brazil.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
