# Create User (DEPRECATED)

`POST /user/create (DEPRECATED)`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `api-key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Create a new user - The user object now only requires the firstName, lastName, email and mobile fields to create a new user. You can choose to collect the remaining information as per your onboarding flow and update them via the PATCH user method. 

**Please note, all the optional fields on this page are mandatory to eventually start KYC.**

  - `firstName` string, required: The first name of the user - Minimum of 2 up to 40 characters in length as a string, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
  - `lastName` string, required: The last name of the user - Minimum of 2 up to 40 characters in length as a string, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
  - `email` string, required: E-mail address of the user
  - `mobile` object
    - `countryCode` string, required: The country code of the user mobile number (e.g. +44). Must contain a '+'
    - `number` string, required: The mobile number of the user - excluding country code. Up to 12 digits in length
  - `dateOfBirth` object
    - `year` integer: A year between 1920 and 2005
    - `month` integer: A month between 1 and 12
    - `day` integer: A day between 1 and 31
  - `address` object
    - `addressLine1` string: The first line of the address. A string up to 80 characters in length, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
    - `addressLine2` string: The second line of the address. A string up to 80 characters in length, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
    - `city` string: The city of the address. A string up to 40 characters in length, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
    - `postalCode` string: The postal code - A string up to 20 characters in length
    - `state` string: Optional state - A string 3-80 characters in length, containing only valid Latin characters (a-z, A-Z).
    - `country` string: The country of the address expressed in ISO 3166 alpha-2 format.
