# Start Hosted Card Session

`POST /hosted-card/start-session`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.sandbox.striga.com/api/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `api-key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Start a hosted card session to use with the hosted card widget.

## Request body

- object
  - `userId` string, required: Striga user ID from your application for a user who has an APPROVED KYC status
  - `ip` string, required: Real IP address of the end user starting a session, collected from your frontend. This is required for regulatory reasons.
