# Create pipeline

`POST /v2/pipelines`

## Request

Creates a basic pipeline.

## Request body

- PipelineCreate
  - `name` string, required: Pipeline name.
  - `teamKey` string, required: Key for the team that will own the pipeline.
  - `stages` string[], required: Stage names in display order.
  - `icon` string, nullable: Pipeline icon name.
  - `description` string, nullable: Pipeline description.
  - `templateType` string, nullable: Template identifier associated with the pipeline.
  - `fields` PipelineFieldCreate[], nullable: Fields to create in the pipeline.
    - `name` string, required: Field name.
    - `type` 'TEXT_INPUT' | 'DROPDOWN' | 'CHECKBOX' | 'DATE' | 'PERSON' | 'FORMULA' | 'TAG' | 'TEAM_CONTACT' | 'TEAM_ORGANIZATION', required
    - `defaultValue` string, nullable: Initial default value. Currently only used for formula fields.
  - `defaultPermissionSetName` string, nullable: Default permission set for users without an explicit assignment.
  - `sharingRestrictedToTeam` boolean, nullable: Whether sharing is restricted to members of the owning team.

      - `prompt` string, required: Prompt used for AI autofill.
      - `source` 'BOX_TIMELINE' | 'WEB_CRAWLING', required: Content used as context for AI autofill. BOX_TIMELINE uses the pipeline item's timeline; WEB_CRAWLING uses content found on the web.
  - `stages` object, required: Stages in this pipeline, keyed by stage key.
