# Update an organization

`POST /v2/organizations/{organizationKey}`

Updates an organization. Omitted and null properties are unchanged. Supplied lists replace existing lists, subject to field validation.

## Path parameters

- `organizationKey` string, required

## Request body

- OrganizationUpdateBody: Organization changes. Omitted or null properties are unchanged; supplied lists replace existing lists.
  - `name` string, nullable: Replacement organization name. A name or domain must remain after the update.
  - `other` string, nullable: Replacement notes. An empty string clears the notes.
  - `domains` string[], nullable: Replacement domains, with the primary domain first. An empty list clears domains if a name remains.
  - `industry` string, nullable: Replacement industry.
  - `phoneNumbers` string[], nullable: Replacement phone numbers. An empty list clears existing phone numbers.
  - `addresses` string[], nullable: Replacement postal addresses. An empty list clears existing addresses.
  - `employeeCount` string, nullable: Replacement company size as text, including employee-count ranges.
  - `logoURL` string, nullable: Replacement organization logo URL.
  - `twitterHandle` string, nullable: Replacement Twitter profile handle or URL.
  - `facebookHandle` string, nullable: Replacement Facebook profile handle or URL.
  - `linkedinHandle` string, nullable: Replacement LinkedIn profile handle or URL.
  - `instagramHandle` string, nullable: Replacement Instagram profile handle or URL.
  - `contactLinks` ContactLinkInput[], nullable: Replacement contact relationships. An empty list removes existing relationships.
    - `key` string, required: Key of the related contact.
    - `isMagicLinked` boolean: Whether the relationship was created automatically.
    - `creationTimestamp` integer, nullable: Relationship creation timestamp, in epoch milliseconds, when known.
  - `orgLinks` OrganizationLinkInput[], nullable: Replacement organization relationships. An empty list removes existing relationships.
    - `key` string, required: Key of the related organization.
    - `isMagicLinked` boolean: Whether the relationship was created automatically.
    - `creationTimestamp` integer, nullable: Relationship creation timestamp, in epoch milliseconds, when known.
  - `fields` object, nullable: Custom field values to change, keyed by field ID. Omitted keys and null values are unchanged; an empty object makes no changes.

  - `versionTimestamp` integer, nullable: Time this version of the record was created, in epoch milliseconds.
  - `lastSavedTimestamp` integer, nullable: Time this record was last saved, in epoch milliseconds.
  - `lastEnrichmentTimestamp` integer, nullable: Time enrichment was last applied or reviewed, in epoch milliseconds.
  - `contactLinks` ContactLink[], required: Contacts linked to this record, in their stored order.
    - `key` string, required: Key for the linked contact.
    - `isMagicLinked` boolean: Whether Streak linked this record automatically.
    - `creationTimestamp` integer, nullable: Time the relationship was created, in epoch milliseconds.
  - `orgLinks` OrganizationLink[], required: Organizations linked to this record, in their stored order.
    - `key` string, required: Stable key for the linked organization.
    - `isMagicLinked` boolean: Whether Streak linked this record automatically.
    - `creationTimestamp` integer, nullable: Time the relationship was created, in epoch milliseconds.
  - `fields` object, required: Custom field values keyed by field identifier.
