# The UK and US measures for a destination (free)

`GET /destinations/{country}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stratumapis.com/v1/export-screening`
- URL: `https://api.stratumapis.com/v1/export-screening/destinations/{country}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Stratum-Key`

The measures GOV.UK lists for the destination (arms embargo, trade sanctions, other trade restrictions, ECOWAS
restrictions), each with GOV.UK's own page, and with US export rules (`rules` includes `us`) the US country
controls in 15 CFR Part 746. Transit control applies to goods passing through the UK to every listed
destination, so it is returned only with `transit=true`. A destination with no measure says so with the date of
GOV.UK's list. No list is screened and nothing is charged. Whether your goods are caught depends on what they
are: this is never a licensing decision.
