# Upload a document and ingest its content as a Catalyst task

`POST /tasks/upload`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://catalyst.stratogenic.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://catalyst.stratogenic.ai/tasks/upload`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Accepts a document file (PDF, DOCX, CSV, TXT) and extracts its content as a normalised Catalyst task proposal.

The file is processed via the compliance document bridge and the extracted text is also stored in the tenant compliance context for future scanning.

Returns the same shape as POST /tasks/ingest.
