# EU VAT Validation + VIES Enrichment (x402)

`GET /x402/v2/vat-validate`

## Request

Validate a European VAT number against the VIES database. Returns company name, address, and validity. Caches results for 24 hours for instant responses on repeated lookups. Serves cached data when VIES is down.

## Query parameters

- `vat_number` string, required: EU VAT number including country prefix (e.g. SE556703748501)
