Quick company verification for France. Confirms the company exists in the official registry, validates VAT registration (from registry data or a VAT number you provide), screens against international sanctions lists, and checks LEI status.

  - `vat_number` string: EU VAT number with country prefix (e.g. ATU14189108). Optional — used for VIES validation when the registry lookup does not return one (e.g. AT, SK); auto-derived from registry data where possible.
