# Page Exists (x402)

`POST /x402/v2/page-exists`

Check whether a URL still exists — catches hard 404s, soft-404 pages, dead links, and removed listings that still return HTTP 200.

  - `timeout_ms` integer: Request timeout in milliseconds (clamped to 1000-30000, default 10000)

  - `signals` string[]: Every heuristic that fired, independent of the final verdict.

  - `confidence` 'high' | 'medium' | 'low' | 'null', nullable: null whenever exists is null. Do not act on "low" alone.
  - `redirected` boolean: Compared against the normalized input URL, so trailing-slash/fragment normalization does not count as a redirect.
  - `status_code` integer, nullable
  - `content_length` integer, nullable: Decoded bytes actually fetched, capped at 20000 — exact for small pages, a lower bound for larger ones. Not the Content-Length header.
