# Og Image Legacy Redirect

`GET /v1/articles/{slug}/og-image`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.storyflo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.storyflo.com/v1/articles/{slug}/og-image`
- Auth: none declared

Legacy OG card route — 301 to the Next.js file-convention renderer.

External share-card crawlers (X / Twitter, LinkedIn, iMessage, Slack,
Discord) cache the og:image URL aggressively. Historically that meta
tag pointed here on ``api.storyflo.com``; the frontend has since
moved the canonical renderer to the Next.js file convention at
``https://www.storyflo.com/story/{slug}/opengraph-image`` (PR #87 — beige
fallback + publisher-cover backdrop, single source of truth).

For any cache that still holds the old URL we hand back a permanent
redirect so the next crawl naturally re-caches the new URL. New page
renders point ``<meta property="og:image">`` directly at the new URL
via the frontend's ``generateMetadata`` flip — this handler exists
purely to drain the long-tail of cached embeds.
