# Alpha Signup

`POST /v1/alpha/signup`

## Request

Register an email for the private alpha. Idempotent — the same
email twice returns 201 with ``{"already_registered": true}`` so the
UX shows the same success state regardless. We silently absorb the
duplicate to avoid email-enumeration leaks.

  - `email` string, required
  - `source` string, nullable
  - `role` string, nullable: listener | publisher (defaults to listener)
  - `turnstile_token` string, nullable
  - `referrer_listener_token` string, nullable
