# Create Quick Open

`POST /v1/teams/{team_id}/quick-open`

Mint a short bookmark for any channel. No sign-in credential is issued.

THE SAME SEATS THAT MAY PUT A LINK IN A TEXT. The bookmark grants its reader
nothing — they sign in and their own permissions apply — so the owner-only
gate that stood here refused only the desk: a turn asked by the owner for a
link to a page got 403 "owner quick-open requires owner access" (runs
13232593 and 435a5cbe, 2026-09-17), while `sms_send(quick_open=...)` minted
the identical link under `_require_messaging_write`.
