# Start In Inbox

`POST /v1/teams/{team_id}/inbox/new`

HE STARTS SOMETHING NEW FROM HIS INBOX (owner, 2026-10-03: "find me an
easy way to start new 'THINGY' kinda which will land in inbox … like a new
chat or smth idk task").

His words become a record of their own under `errands/`, filed to no desk,
so his Inbox lists it under the Home: answered the moment it exists
(`inbox.state: processing`, his words `inbox.answer`, the house's "What do
you need?" `inbox.asked`, `inbox.started: true`). Then Stormy is woken on it
ONCE in the Home's room, through the same door and the same prompt a reply
takes (`channel_build.resume`, `prompts/inbox-answered.md`), so the turn
does the work, answers in the thread, draws the record's page only when the
work leaves something to see, and closes the row; Stop is the one every row
has (`POST /stop`).
