# Read a keyword's current popularity and difficulty

`GET /hive/keywords/{term}/metrics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://storelift.net/v1`
- URL: `https://storelift.net/v1/hive/keywords/{term}/metrics`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Read existing Hive observations for one exact keyword and storefront. Popularity is an integer from 1 to 100; difficulty is a score from 0 to 100. Missing data stays null. Each metric carries its own evidence, source time, freshness and last-attempt status. This GET never starts a source request or measurement job. Requires the full Hive Explorer product; Android is explicitly unsupported.

OK

- HiveKeywordMetrics (unresolved $ref)

## Other responses

- `400`: A parameter is missing or malformed.
- `401`: No key, or the key is not valid.
- `402`: This month's credits are used up.
- `403`: The key's plan or scopes do not cover this call.
- `404`: No such app, or Storelift has not measured it yet.
- `429`: Too many requests.
