# GET /executions/{executionId}/input

`GET /executions/{executionId}/input`

This endpoint retrieves an execution's input document before it passes through any translation and mappings.

## Path parameters

- `executionId` string, required — A unique identifier for the file execution within Stedi. This ID is included in the [file processed event](https://www.stedi.com/docs/edi-platform/operate/event-types#file-processed), or you can retrieve it manually from the file's details page within the Stedi app.
