# 💱 Retrieve Currency Exchange Rates

`GET /currency/api/exchange`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.steamwebapi.com`
- URL: `https://www.steamwebapi.com/currency/api/exchange`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `key`

Baseurl: https://www.steamwebapi.com/currency/api/exchange?key=YOUR_API_KEY&change=EUR&base=USD

    💬 **What this endpoint does:**
    - Provides the exchange rate for a specified currency.
    - Allows you to specify:
        - The currency to convert to using the `change` parameter.
        - The base currency using the `base` parameter (default: USD).

    🛠️ **Features:**
    - Fetches accurate exchange rates.
    - Supports all major currency codes based on the [ISO 4217](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217) standard.

    🌐 **How to use:**
    - Use the `change` parameter to specify the target currency (e.g., `EUR`, `TRY`, `RUB`).
    - Optionally, use the `base` parameter to specify the base currency. If omitted, the default is `USD`.

    📋 **Example:**
    - `change=EUR&base=USD`: Convert USD to EUR.

## Response `200`

Request was successful, and the exchange rate is returned.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or missing parameters.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
