# Delete Dashboard Widget

`DELETE /console/v1/dashboards/{id}/widgets/{widgetId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://statsigapi.net`
- URL: `https://statsigapi.net/console/v1/dashboards/{id}/widgets/{widgetId}`
- Auth: API key in header `STATSIG-API-KEY`

Delete one widget permanently. Include the dashboard revision from an editable or references read. A revision conflict requires a fresh read; do not retry deletion automatically. MCP requires explicit destructive-operation confirmation.

## Response `200`

Deleted widget identity and updated dashboard revision.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request. Please check the request input and try again.
- `404`: Not Found. The requested resource could not be found.
- `412`: The revision changed. Read the dashboard again before deleting.
