# Create managed account

`POST /public/v2/managed/accounts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://starlink.com/api`
- URL: `https://starlink.com/api/public/v2/managed/accounts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Required permission: Managed Account Creation, Edit.<br/>Creates a managed account with connection under the specified parent account.
Returns the created account number, name, and region code.

## Request body

- CreateManagedAccountRequest
  - `managerAccountNumber` string: The account number of the manager account
  - `name` string: The name for the newly created managed account
  - `contact` ManagedAccountContactRequest
    - `firstName` string: Contact first name.
    - `lastName` string: Contact last name.
    - `email` string: Contact email.
    - `phoneNumber` string: Contact phone number.
    - `locale` string: Contact locale (example: en-US).

- `403`: user_lacks_required_permission
- `422`: Failed to create managed account
