# Create contact

`POST /public/v2/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://starlink.com/api`
- URL: `https://starlink.com/api/public/v2/contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Required permission: Admin Only - API User Management, Edit.<br/>Creates the contact if it is new, and adds the contact to the authenticated account.

## Request body

- CreateContactOnAccountRequest
  - `firstName` string, required: Contact first name.
  - `lastName` string, required: Contact last name.
  - `roles` string[], required: Contact roles on account.
  - `email` string, required: Contact email.
  - `phoneNumber` string, required: Contact phone number.
  - `locale` string, required: Contact locale.

## Response `200`

Contact has been created and added to the account with the requested roles.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. Invalid or missing parameter
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: user_lacks_required_permission
- `422`: Failed to create the contact and add it to the account with the correct roles.
