# Create Utility Payments

`POST /v2/utility-payment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.starkbank.com`
- URL: `https://api.starkbank.com/v2/utility-payment`
- Auth: API key in header `Digital-Signature`

Use this route to pay utility bills using the available balance in your Stark Bank account.

## Request body

- object
  - `description` string, required: Text to be displayed in your statement. Min length = 10.
  - `barCode` string, required: Bar code number that describes the payment. Either "line" or "barCode" parameters are required. If both are sent, they must match.
  - `line` string, required: Number sequence that describes the payment. Either "line" or "barCode" parameters are required. If both are sent, they must match.
  - `scheduled` string, date-time: Schedule the payment for a specific date. Default value is the current day.
  - `tags` string[]: Array of strings to tag the entity for future queries. All tags will be converted to lowercase.
