# Export Trip Maps Kml

`POST /trips/{trip_id}/maps-kml`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://stardrift.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://stardrift.ai/trips/{trip_id}/maps-kml`
- Auth: none declared

Build the whole trip as a KML file for import into Google My Maps.

Google has no write API for a user's saved list/My Map, so the paid
"Export to Google Maps" feature returns a .kml the client downloads and the
user imports. Gating and the KML build happen in this one call, so a free
user can't bypass the paywall — there's nothing client-side to forge.
