# Update Trip Eclipse Mode

`POST /trips/{trip_id}/eclipse-mode`

Flip eclipse-hunting mode on/off for an existing trip.

Mirrors the per-field trip update routes (`/title`, `/dates`). Agent
(client-profile) trips can't enter eclipse mode — they keep their
travel-agent prompt — so the flag is forced off there.
