# Retrieve a Transaction

`GET /v1/financial_connections/transactions/{transaction}`

Retrieves the details of a Financial Connections `Transaction`

## Path parameters

- `transaction` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- FinancialConnectionsTransaction: A Transaction represents a real transaction that affects a Financial Connections Account balance.
  - `account` string, required: The ID of the Financial Connections Account this transaction belongs to.
  - `amount` integer, required: The amount of this transaction, in cents (or local equivalent).
  - `currency` string, required: Three-letter [ISO currency code](https://www.iso.org/iso-4217-currency-codes.html), in lowercase. Must be a [supported currency](https://stripe.com/docs/currencies).
  - `description` string, required: The description of this transaction.
  - `id` string, required: Unique identifier for the object.
  - `livemode` boolean, required: If the object exists in live mode, the value is `true`. If the object exists in test mode, the value is `false`.
  - `object` 'financial_connections.transaction', required: String representing the object's type. Objects of the same type share the same value.
  - `status` 'pending' | 'posted' | 'void', required: The status of the transaction.
  - `status_transitions` BankConnectionsResourceTransactionResourceStatusTransitions, required
    - `posted_at` integer, nullable: Time at which this transaction posted. Measured in seconds since the Unix epoch.
    - `void_at` integer, nullable: Time at which this transaction was voided. Measured in seconds since the Unix epoch.
  - `transacted_at` integer, required: Time at which the transaction was transacted. Measured in seconds since the Unix epoch.
  - `transaction_refresh` string, required: The token of the transaction refresh that last updated or created this transaction.
  - `updated` integer, required: Time at which the object was last updated. Measured in seconds since the Unix epoch.
