# Delete a person

`DELETE /v1/accounts/{account}/people/{person}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stripe.com`
- URL: `https://api.stripe.com/v1/accounts/{account}/people/{person}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes an existing person’s relationship to the account’s legal entity. Any person with a relationship for an account can be deleted through the API, except if the person is the `representative`. If your integration is using the `executive` parameter, you cannot delete the only verified `executive` on file.

## Path parameters

- `account` string, required
- `person` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- DeletedPerson
  - `deleted` true, required: Always true for a deleted object
  - `id` string, required: Unique identifier for the object.
  - `object` 'person', required: String representing the object's type. Objects of the same type share the same value.
