# Report a task the person wanted that Stacktree cannot do.

`POST /agent-feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stacktr.ee`
- URL: `https://api.stacktr.ee/agent-feedback`
- Auth: none required

For something no route or MCP tool does, such as scheduling a publish, not for errors: those reach us already. Send one report per task, after checking the docs, and tell the person you passed it on. Describe the task, not the person: no names, email addresses or page content. Works with an API key, an OAuth token, a Personal Agent Protocol Session Token, or no credential (five a day per network; twenty a day per account). The report reaches the people who build Stacktree; nobody replies to it. The MCP tool report_missing_feature sends the same report.

## Request body

- object
  - `task` string, required: What the person was trying to do, in a short phrase.
  - `description` string, required: What you tried and why it could not be done.
  - `kind` string: Always "missing" for now.
  - `agent` string: Optional. Your agent's name, when you send no credential that names it.

## Response `202`

Received.

- object
  - `ok` boolean
  - `id` string
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: invalid_request: task or description missing or too long.
- `429`: rate_limited, with Retry-After.
