# Observed premiums over spot, as markdown

`GET /api/metal-premiums.md`

## Request

Rolling fine-metal-weighted median asking premiums over spot, by category and product, as markdown tables. `metal` is required. Covers silver, gold, platinum, palladium, copper, nickel and Goldback. Goldback percentages use the Goldback reference rate rather than raw contained-gold spot and are excluded from ordinary gold statistics.

## Query parameters

- `metal` 'silver' | 'gold' | 'platinum' | 'palladium' | 'copper' | 'nickel' | 'goldback', required

## Response `200`

The premium tables for the requested metal. When the dataset is temporarily unavailable this is still a 200 whose body says so.

## Other responses

- `400`: A parameter was missing or outside its accepted values. `type` is `missing-parameter` or `invalid-parameter`, and `detail` names the parameter.
