# Rename a connected wallet (business)

`POST /money/accounts/whitelist/{id}/rename`

Renames a whitelisted external address the customer connected, re-running the counterparty-name sanctions screen on the new name. The address, network, memo, status and every other property are unchanged. Renaming to the current name is a no-op.

  - `name` string, required — The wallet's new name. Surrounding whitespace is trimmed; a blank name is refused.
