# Request help recovering your second factor

`POST /identity/two_factor_reset_requests`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stablesea.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: none declared

Requires the unconsumed session_token from password sign-in. Records a support request and durably queues a receipt to your account email. Repeated submissions reuse the pending request. This does not reset your factors, unlock your account or complete sign-in.
