# Create an invitation

`POST /identity/members/invites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.stablesea.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.stablesea.com/identity/members/invites`
- Auth: none declared

Invites a person to your current business and returns the invitation resource. The redemption link is sent to the invitee. Requires `members_invite`. Selecting permissions also requires `roles_manage` in enforced mode or `permissions_manage` in legacy mode. Creation does not automatically retry after an uncertain response; check pending invitations before resending.
