# Remove a team member (idempotent)

`DELETE /v1/team/{user_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sqai.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.sqai.com/v1/team/{user_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Remove a user from the org: suspend (never delete), revoke their API keys, devices and
pending invites, drop their home link to it and withdraw the admin basis of the GitHub
installations they bound. Idempotent: removing an already-suspended member answers 200
``already_absent`` — and still revokes anything that member kept (e.g. a seat-downgrade
suspension).
