# Add an internal note to a conversation

`POST /v2/inbox/conversations/{inboxId}/notes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.spurnow.com`
- URL: `https://api.spurnow.com/v2/inbox/conversations/{inboxId}/notes`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Adds an agent-only note to a 1:1 conversation timeline, the same as adding a note in the inbox. The note is never sent to the contact and does not change assignment or automation.

## Path parameters

- `inboxId` number, required

## Request body

- CreateInboxNoteBody
  - `text` string, required: Internal note text. Visible to agents only; never sent to the contact.

## Response `201`

- CreateInboxNoteResponseDto
  - `id` number, required: Internal Message id of the note.
  - `inboxId` number, required: ContactInbox id the note was added to.
  - `text` string, required
  - `sentDateTime` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Empty text, or the conversation has no messages yet.
