# Add an internal note to a WhatsApp group thread

`POST /v2/groups/{id}/notes`

## Request

Persists an agent-only note in the group timeline. The note is never sent to WhatsApp, so it remains available when the group messaging window is closed or the group itself cannot receive messages.

  - `text` string: Internal note text. Optional when the note contains at least one attachment.
  - `media` GroupNoteMediaBody[]: Internal note attachments. These are stored in Spur and never sent to Meta.
    - `type` 'image' | 'video' | 'audio' | 'document', required
    - `url` string, required: Public https URL of the note attachment.
