# Create contact (strict REST)

`POST /contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.spurnow.com`
- URL: `https://api.spurnow.com/contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a WhatsApp contact using strict REST semantics. Returns 4xx exceptions for validation/duplication errors.

## Request body

- CreateContactDto
  - `firstName` string, required: Contact first name.
  - `lastName` string, required: Contact last name.
  - `email` string: Contact email.
  - `number` string, required: Phone number with country code, digits only.
  - `name` string: Optional full name override.

## Response `201`

Contact created successfully.

  - `email` string, required
  - `number` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid phone number format.
- `404`: WhatsApp channel not connected for workspace.
- `409`: Duplicate contact exists.
