# List a contact's WhatsApp conversations

`GET /contacts/{contactId}/conversations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.spurnow.com`
- URL: `https://api.spurnow.com/contacts/{contactId}/conversations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The WhatsApp numbers this contact has a conversation on, newest first, with the conversation id to open in Spur Embed. Only numbers with messages are listed unless `include=all`. Read-only: no token is minted. An Instagram or Facebook conversation is a separate contact and is not listed.

  - `contactId` number, required
  - `conversations` ContactConversationDto[], required: Newest first.
    - `conversationId` number, nullable, required: The conversation (inboxId) on this number. Null when the contact has no conversation on it yet: mint a token with `contact.id` and `channelId` to start one.
    - `channelId` number, required: Which of your WhatsApp numbers this is.
    - `type` 'wa', required
    - `number` string, nullable, required: Your business number, never the contact’s.
    - `name` string, nullable, required: The number’s display name.
    - `conversationStatus` 'OPEN' | 'CLOSED', nullable, required
    - `lastMessageAt` string, date-time, nullable, required
    - `hasMessages` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `404`: WhatsApp contact not found
