# Create a new project

`POST /v1/projects`

## Request

## Request body

- CreateProjectDto
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string
  - `resolution` '16x16' | '32x32' | '64x64' | '128x128' | '256x256' | '512x512'
  - `artStyle` 'pixel_art' | 'cartoon' | 'anime' | 'hand_drawn' | 'chibi'
  - `palette` object: Custom color palette — array of hex color strings (e.g. ["#FF5733","#2ECC71"]) or a preset name string (e.g. "nes")
  - `viewAngle` 'side_scroll' | 'top_down' | 'isometric' | 'front_facing'
  - `pixelPerfect` 'auto' | 'on' | 'off': Pixel Perfect resize mode. "auto" (recommended) picks the right algorithm based on artStyle + resolution. "on" forces crispy nearest-neighbor (retro pixel art, Gungeon/NES style). "off" forces smooth Lanczos (cartoon, anime, higher-res art). Nearest-neighbor is NOT universally better - it destroys fine detail at higher resolutions.
